So when it comes to long haired girls both girls and boys have their expectations.
BOYS do love girls with long hair, because they look sexy and feminine.
GIRLS feel pretty and accepted by society.
It’s all about fitting in and being admired by everyone. Don’t stand out, smile and act like a good child. Does anyone want to be like that?
And did anyone ever think about the consequences? Long hair is not as wonderful and as exciting as you think it is at first:
- It needs to be brushed at least 3-4 times per day, depending on the length and the weather outside.
- Wearing backpacks or bags in general is a daily torture. Try to wear it WITHOUT clamping your hair – impossible.
- Same goes with changing clothes. It hurts. OUCH.
- Hair products, even „small“ ones, such as shampoo, cost a lot. Simply because you need to use more – depending on the length and amount of hair.
- You want to dye your hair? Too bad, you have to buy TWO PACKAGES OF COLORING instead of just using one. Haha.
- Straightening? Curling? Braids? Pigtails? You can style your hair differently, but do you have the time and the mood for getting up 1 hour earlier just to get your perfect day-look?
- Ever tried to cuddle and feel comfortable while someone’s accidentally pulling your hair? Can’t.
- Forget wearing your hair open while wearing a scarf!
These are the main reasons I cut my hair. AND I LOVE IT!
So girls, please don’t agonize. Do what you love, don’t care about others.
And to the boys: JUST SHUT THE F*CK UP!
